This is one of the most sought after tours in Turkey. You’ll discover Istanbul, a city of business frenzy, entertainment, and a wealth of rich Turkish culture. Absorb it’s ancient structures, traveling from its mosques to the Roman influenced architecture. On your arrival day you'll be transferred to your hotel in the center of the historic district, Sultanahmet, and may choose to spend time this evening wandering the area. The next day take advantage of your guide’s knowledge on visits to St. Sophia Church and the Blue Mosque, known for its blue colored tiles and architecture. Continue your tour to Byzantine Hippodrome, and the Grand Bazaar - a massive bazaar where virtually every knick-knack is available. Your second full day of touring will start at the Topkapi palace, where you start to understand the unique mystical Ottomans. Next, you'll visit the Spice Bazaar / Egyptian Bazaar before embarking on a tour of the Bosphorus Straits, where seasonally you may see an amazing sunset. You'll return to your hotel for a final night.   The final day will include a return transfer to the Istanbul airport for your departure flight.  

This trip is designed for you if you've been to Istanbul before and want to see the less visited, but still amazing sites outside of Sultanahmet. This tour is also a great option for those wanting to extend a longer Turkey tour by adding a few days more in Istanbul, but not repeating the typical Hagia Sophia/ Topkapi Palace route. This 3 night 4 day tour, assumes you arrive early on day 1 from your flight and allows you to visit the splendors of the Dolmahce Palace and the Ihlamur Palace on the Bosphorous. By the end of the day you will be drinking tea while watching the sunset and commuters across the romantic Bosphorous straits from the Ortakoy Mosque.  Day 2 takes you to a less visited area - the cross roads of Orthodox Christianity, Judiasm and Islam all in the same avant garde and up and coming neighborhood of Balat. Pisidia is the ancient mountainous land that fully surrounds the plain of Pamphylia. From prehistoric to Roman times the people that occupied this region remained distinct from the Pamphylians (who were descendants the people of Troy who migrated to the region after losing in battle) even though they were likely distant relatives. Alexander the Great struggled with the Pisidians and was never fully able to defeat them. The Pamphylians, however, would never engage him. Later, when Persia battled Greece, the Pisidians supported the Persians. Then, even under the Roman rule, while Pamphylia obeyed Rome, the Pisidians continued to battle themselves, one another and the Romans. Their vigor and distinction is likely due to the extremely rugged mountainous terrain on which they lived. This made their lives hard and the lives of their enemies harder.  You'll experience the grandeur and rugged beauty of their mountaintop locations on this tour - visiting untouched sites close to Antalya.   From the mountaintop site of Termessos just 45 mins from Antalya, to the unbelievable restored grand fountains in Sagalassos to the forests surrounding Selge and Adada, these sites retain their rugged appearance and protected national forest distinction. Walk in Paul’s footsteps Visit the Ancient Sites of Paul’s First Journey This unique Biblical tour is most often operated over 6 days starting in Cappadocia after a stop in Istanbul, and following St. Paul’s travels return during his first missionary journey from Cappadocia west to Lystra and Derbe where little remains today. You'll then head west to Iconium (modern day Konya) and then towards Pisidian Antioch (modern day Yalvac) before going south to the Mediterranean port city of Antalya (Attalia). If you have 3 extra days, the tour could reach as far as Antioch of Syria (actually Modern day Hatay/Antakya in SE Turkey), though the distance and travel to reach here is excessive. We recommend instead spending extra time at the beginning or end of your trip in Antalya on the beach! Hotels used are in the larger towns nearby as a few sites have no modern or ancient remains! The next leg of your journey will take you along the major classical sites of western Turkey where the 7 Churches of Revelation are found, including: Laodiciea and  Pamukkale with its thermal pools, Philadelphia, Sardis, Thyatira, Pergamum, Smyrna, and Ephesus. The route will generally follow the text of Revelations 1-3. This is a trip designed to explore some of the most featured regions of Turkey, while giving time and attention to the devotional journey awaiting you at the 7 Church sites of Revelations.
